Well you can see since when I'm registered and that my post count is pretty low. I don't ask much, most of my questions I get answered by myself, through reading manuals and the internet.
I was always interested in MPCs from the beginning on, it looks like mad fun working with those machines. So I downloaded the manual from the MP2kxl as pdf from the Akai website. I wanted to read the things that interest me, that means I jump from chapter to chapter and read it.
Sometimes I type in keywords in the pdf viewer program and read the paragraphs that show up etc.
But the problem is when I pull out the tree view (called bookmarks), which is *actually* very nice because it's in order. So you can see all the chapters and sub-chapters and jump back and forth. But when I click on one of the sub-chapters the zoom of the page gets automatically set back to "fit page" in this case around 50%. And I want the actual size of the page which is 100%, and I want it on all sites so I can read and jump from one chapter to the other.
So I set the zoom to 100% or click on the "actual size" button and then I choose a chapter I want to read BUT the zoom gets set back AND SO ON!
I went to "Tools > Acessibility Assistent" and set the document zoom to "actual size", and then I went to "Edit > Preferences" and changed the default zoom to 100%, but this piece of **** still sets the zoom always back.
I spent a whole day (no lie) to figure out whats wrong, I searched the internet for other pdf viewer programs other than Adobe Reader 8 which I had and still have. With all the freeware pdf viewers I found, it was always the same. Reading a pdf was always uncomfortable for me, but this time this POS drives me nuts.
I would like to RTFM!!!
So tell me am I doing something wrong? And yeah I can't navigate without the tree view, here is a screenshot of it:
