Does it have a stylus? Depending on what type of cartridge it is and what type you have now...you might have to get a headshell for it, and it shouldn't be a problem plugging into your technics, just as long as you can mount it on a headshell that has that standard phono plug thing (obviously don't know what it's called) that plugs into the technics arm. I would find out what you got there so you know how much weight your supposed to put on your needle.

yea it has a stylus. damn these things are like 130 bucks. wtf . yea, im just gonna try it out cuz i think i just saw a technics with one on it on some website. thanx one.
i use ortofons, the dj model like effekt has, ortofons are in a different class altogether, they have a damn three year guaranteed warranty, of course i dont think it applies to found ones
yea, I agree. I was thinking about buying a shure 44-7 when my blue otrofon dies. But it just dosn't wanna die. It's impressive how durable they are. Now, I don't thing about the 44-7 anymore, it might take another few years of abuse before the blue monster dies.
