i made this on a laptop with no midi controller and no mouse. it was painful and very unintuitive. i couldn't audition sounds and i could play melodies, i had to click them into place. sooooooo whatever.. i said i'd make a beat, i made a beat

plus, i havn't used reason in a long time.

its way different than what you made.. but i dig it! that grimey shit.

my vote actually goes to bazement, i dont like that style, but his beat is just plain better, i couldnt feel k's at all, i thought it was wack. no offense thats just me

You know, while i don't absolutely love this beat, i think that it shows MUCH more originality.

i have a feeling if you would have taken more than an hour or two on the beat that you would have used better sounds and tweaked them to hotness.

But considering these are factory sounds... wow

drums are always on point

it was really hard to click everything in... you cant "play" out a melody or chord changes with a mouse

and by the way, he already "Won" the battle because i didnt turn in the beat by deadline. i just posted up something real quick to not COMPLETELY back out.

once i get my computer back from the shop and my midi keyboard back from a friend, i'll drop something better
