Was good ppl, this is my first time in MPC-Forums and i have to say i like it. But besides that, i have a few questions. Im gona be coppin a MPC 1k from guitar center and i want to know what other things i should buy wit it, such as to connect it to da computer (w/pro tools), respectable good n cheap turntable, and the regular things. thx in advance

:shock: lol thats the EXACTLY same thing i wanna do 2!yes somebody tell us something.
but i've gotten told that a motif is good with the mpc,but exspensive for my taste.......im not kidding this is really weird i want pro tools too!also monitors of course..........wow i gotta make me some money :lol:

help me too!:lol: im tryna getta job...but theres not alotta jobs 4 15 yr olds in this state!but imma try n get a mpc1000 too so i guess i have a decent budget.im not that type of person thats a "big spender"....i buy what i need!

um the budget can be around $ 2000-3000 beanz.

if you guys want to work with protools, you may have a look at m-audio soundcards,
if you want to hook up the mpc to the pc, you need a soundcard . go for firewire. then check for midi, to synch with the mpc.
m-audio offers some great deals with a (kind of lite-version) of proo tools, wich will do for the beginning, seriously!

go for the firewire 410 or the 1814 (whatever you need in/outputs) i like them very much.
i would just go for an mpc and this interface, for the moment. then you have the world at your fingers.
after you start doin` some music with it, you may find out you need something more hardware/software - and build up from there.

I highly recommend you buy a pair of Midi Headphones, this will really make your setup look complete.
