how do i do a system reset?

hey i was making a beat,left the room for a min,came back and now the sound only comes out the left ear.i tried to load a diff beat,shut it off and turn it on again,and even left it to chill for the night but it still plays in only my left ear.beats keep me sane and im going insane now that i dont have my mpc someone help me!my boy said i could try a system reset but he didnt have the manual handy to tell me exactly how to do it and this mpc was a used gift from a friend so i dont have the manual.

Hold ERASE as you turn on the MPC

i did that and it didnt do anything to solve my problem.any other suggestions?

make sure your headphones aren't busted

i tried diff headphones same thing.in left ear only.also tried two diff quarter inch adapters to make sure they werent the problem.also i did the hold erase while turning on mpc reset and now it is quantizing my drums on me as well as a bunch of samples are autoloading up from the mpc that i dont want.sounds that i never use that i guess are built into it.this thing is buggin on me.
