man, his manager contacted the club i bartend at to see about getting a gig there. but we would have to charge $75 a ticket just to break even.

leon is a cool dude. He actually stole a dj night from me a few months ago. Last minute he wanted the gig and I was cool with it, cause hes Leon Russel for fuks sake. But yeah he costs dough to book. I think he wanted 6k before the door. We took a beating that night, but still having leon russel in the room and playing on the stage that i play on with my band was an honor. He is classic and has been on tons of albums that are plat and gold. Did most of the keyboard work on the white album. He has a crazy resume. He is getting older and its harder for him to do gigs, but he still shreads it.
