I just moved from St. Louis to Streetsboro, Ohio and I thought I'd never be able to find a good record store without going all the way to Cleveland. The other day, I went to this flea market that is only open on the weekends, but is right up the street from me. I was hoping to find a stand that had some old records and I hit the mother load! This one guy up there has an amazing collection of records and sells them at great prices! I swear this is better than Vintage Vinyl (one of the major record stores in the STL!) and a larger collection at that. It turns out this guy really knows what he is doing. I had just seen the movie MOOG, so the first thing I asked him was if he had a record of classical music done with a moog synthesizer. He says "Oh, you mean Switched on Bach." He pulls out several coppies and even part two and related Moog stuff. It just goes to show, that you never know where you can find old records. Yard sales are really good too. ANYWAYS, if anyone is looking for something in particular, e-mail me and I'll see if I can find it. I have to give myself a budget of ten or twenty bucks when I go, as it would be easy to spend a lot, even though you can get several records for ten bucks. This digging is addictive... Peace.
