after a search i couldnt find anything relating to this so im posting this up in the hope someone will be able to answer these questions for me...
at the moment i use reason for making beats because i cant afford an mpc but now iv got the money and am probably going to get the 2000xl but i have a question about some of the techniques i use in reason that i take for granted.
my main question is about the eqing on the mpc. im used to putting in a 'two band parametric eq' in my reason rack to sort out the eq of samples and drums etc on my tracks, is the same sort of technique available on a 2000xl?
also at first i wont have a mixing desk (could anyone point me in the direction of a cheap but good 8 channel desk??)
