lately ive been hearing people talk about bugs and such like freezing when they load samples ect, and alot of times the people will say which version their using, and its not ever version 1.00,

ive been using my 500 for a few months and ive never gotten around to upgrading my OS so im still running version 1.00 and ive had no problems like that, no freezes ect.

so im wondering, should i upgrade my OS? are all these bugs in the new OS's or are they in the 500 hardware itself? did i just get a good 500? what if i upgraded my OS and i started getting problems like this? is there a way to "un-upgrade" it?

has anyone started getting bugs on the new OS while having none on the original one?

any input would be greatly appreciated :D

i dont really want to upgrade my OS and find out that the newer version doesnt work as good as the original one.

If you feel you don't NEED to upgrade, then don't do it.
If you want to check what bugs have been fixed then check.

I think you can "un-upgrade" by re-installing the original OS (V 1.00)
But hey, if it ain't broken...why fix it?
