i think we may have to rename this place and just call it "Diggers"
we can have nose diggers, hole diggers, mp3 diggers and we can all come together and discuss how we dig....

e diggin aint diggin, blogs and sh!t are set up by other diggers / collectors.. ur not finding anything new by using them to get ur breaks. u are just using theyre collection. The sh!ts already found they spent the time goin through the crates.. learnin theyre sh!t, what to look for what to avoid etc, its not like diggin for original breaks.. its simply from some ones collection, thats not evolvin the scene or doing anything for diggin, its just taking from it.
Also u can bet that person with the blog isnt sharin theyre real gems, just a few things they dont mind sharing.. the way to evolve the scene is to dig urself and find gems urself.. regardless to if u choose to share them in the form of the break, or keep them to urself and maybe use them for ur beats. So called "e diggin" aint diggin and aint doin nothin for the scene.
Fair enough do what u do.. if u wanna make beats and its nice access to breaks to do so go ahead.. u can also learn alot and hear things as well as learn names so its a good learnin point, i know i've used blogs alot in past to do this and have some nice easy beat material as well as learning alot about what to dig for, but nowadays i just dig for that sh!t and come up on better sh!t then on blogs, plus i "own" the breaks then in a physical format which is much better.. and also come up on breaks that are more original that i havent heard else where and i can use for my sh!t and have people wondering where i got it and lookin for it.. not a break that 100,000 kids and theyre grandma all got from this 1 (or 50) blog(s)

Can't nobody tell u how to grind for ur ish....and as for the "rare gems" unless u collecting em and selling records for $400 a pop whats the point of u "collectors" having it? Just to say i got a rare record noones ever heard and never will? Whats the logic in that.

imagine if everyone stopped diggin and only used whats already been found / known.. sh!t would get stale..

Its not a case of people skimming your posts, its more a case of you come on here and almost state what others should be doing.
example:
you started your post with "e diggin aint diggin"
Why??? to some it isn't but to others it is........ your opinion is yours and I always respect peoples opinions, but you do need to clarify sometimes bro, not dictate.. I've taken from the web and i've also given to it but it don't make me any worse for beat collecting, if cats do that (as you and I have done) then you gotta accept it as you would respect those that collect the original vinyl. The simple truth is that what gets lost nowadays is that the people who started this were not that interested in the vinyl itself, they just wanted that 2 second break or loop plain and simple, if they had access to other resources like we do now then I can assure you that they would be all over it now, I'd put money on the fact that premo, PR, Dre etc scan the web for info they never knew, thats how I sold a break to Dre years ago purely by crossing paths on a forum and me putting up a sound clip that interested him, he then got the original from me and put it to use.... My point is that there are no restrictions to this artform and the day that we move from the whole point of how hip hop started then we lose hip hop (diggin included)
you say that the scene must move forward.... well the web is part of that progression my friend, hate it or love it we have it! and that includes diggin......
Example 2: you say..imagine if everyone stopped diggin and only used whats already been found / known.. sh!t would get stale..
Go check out Jazzy Jeff's latest where every track uses samples from way back that have been used plenty of times.... sure don't sound stale to me. JJ is like many producers, he probably has many gems but obviously he got that old school feel for his latest work and he went with it..... Gets my respect (esp for the Pazant bro's loop)
Peeps do read your posts bro and don't assume otherwise because the replies show it, just try not to show your opinion as the way it is out there. I'm not attacking you mate as I know you have plenty to share and offer peeps out there, just sometimes you need to chill a bit and enjoy your own knowledge.
learn, discover, enjoy, school, encourage.... Peace
