velocity?

yo i got this tight sample. its louder than my hats and other stuff in the kit. how do i set the velocity for the pad the sample is on so that it will play at certain vloume no matter how hard i hit?

turn the track down that u record the sample on.

Just go into the mixer screen and hit the pad the sample is on and turn the volume down on that pad. If you want it to respond the same regardless of how hard you hit it press the full level button.

listen kid. i dont know what your thinkin, but i did answer his question constructively. I told you to look at the manual. If you would of looked at the manual, then this is something that should be easy to remember. This is one of those things where you just try sh|t and get it right. It just takes a minute to find out. I just hate when people can figure out one little thing by themselves because they took 10 seconds to try. If you take a few minutes(maybe 10 minutes) most likely you will get it. Especially because the mpc's are so user friendly. Now before you go addin your two cents pickin fights, why dont you take a few minutes and think about something before you go and make yourself look stupid?? alright????

good question. i wish i could answer that for u. i would think it would save the mixer settings along with everything else, but I honestly dont know. try a test save and see if it works

its talks all about it in the manual....seriously we dont just point you there to answer your questions but to teach you about your machine so you know what it can and cant do and what tools are available to you....

my mate lukey didnt read his manual for the first month saying he would work it all out....the numpty never knew about half the hidden screens as a result.....

Dub, Science has a question tell the man the answer if you know it instead of taking time out of your day to break balls and type out the resoning why you tell people to read the manual. You are acting like that fag back in the day that won't let you look at his test in class.

Sci, I am pretty sure the mixer settings are saved when you save it as a program or aps file. You can also change the volume of a sound in the edit screen; I think under parameters, i am at work now so I can't tell you for sure. By default the volume is set at a value of 100 but you can bump it up to a max of 200.

ripper chill dood, i am at work at the mo...i bet this guy has a manual in front of him..if i had a manual in front of me i would state the page number and then tell him to go look cos as i just said its for his own good cos he may find something else out he doesn't already know....

oh and we used to call the guy who let everyone look at his test answers the fag, not the normal people who held them sacred.....
