Saving... Loading...

I currently have 3 projects (songs) going on. They were all in my autoload file and I would just fire things up that way. I deleted my autoload file because I wanted these 3 songs in seperate autoload files or seperate loadable projects. The only way to save and load a project is "entire memory"?? I dont want to save the entire memory though, just whats in the memory as far as current use... such as a few sequences, few drum kits, etc. Does this make sense?

Well... scratch that... It did work. I saved a "project" under save entire memory... the only problem with this is it brough back ALL of the stock samples that came with the mpc... it took me forever to sort out this pre made junk. It takes so much extra time sifting through all of it.... So say I make some changes and delete files... then make a few changes to a song... and I want to save it... do I have to go back to "save entire memory" to edit that specific project?


I probably made it far more confusing than need be....
Someone will get it im sure...

Stop autoloading the Internal memory. Turn off Autoload. Now make a new folder on the CF card. Load only what you need to work on. Now save "Entire Memory" to the newly created folder. Next time you boot up the MPC, load your newly created folder or set that folder to autoload.

**If you autoload all the sounds, every time you choose save entire memory it will save everything that's loaded, including the "pre-made junk" as you put it.**
