Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

PEACE-PEACE...WHAT'S DEAL...HOW'S EVERYBODY...WORD...AUGHITE CHECK IT...DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE TRANSIENT RESPONSE OF THE MP-...AS IT RELATES TO HOW WELL THE MP- CAN REPRODUCE A SOUND THAT'S SAMPLE EXACTLY THE SAME...SPEAK BACK...THANKS...

apparantly the mpc (well 2k at least) tend to have a peak around the mid area...meaning the samples are slightly more middy when in the mpc....

word...i hear ya...i picked this "transient response" piece in a class at this audio school down here in orlando...its good to know stuff...and expand knowledge...

you know there is actually a cool rack called the transient designer (its by spl i think) which you can use to reenveleope sounds....works similar to the transient shaper in recycle but ive heard its secret weapon stuff! would love to have a go with one....

ebay mate...they are quite rare.....but you can def get em and people swear by em...
