hi. i recently bought an mpc1000 to replace a mpc2000.
since the .ALL files i used don't load on the new machine i saved each seq seperatedly and then transfered them.
when i load them the first track is always missing and an empty one is inserted on track# 64.
anyone has this problem? is there a way to load them properly without having to edit the midi files on my pc?
i tried exporting the midi files on the 2k as midi type 0 but doesn't work.
thanks

i faced the problem
i solutioned it by copying the first track on another empty track on the 2k
and then export to the 1k

thanks for the answer Fono
i guess this is some kind of bug...
anyone knows if this happens with JJs os?

i also just hit on another bug it seems..
if i have a track# 63 and i move it to #64 it dissapears!
it also happens if i move #64 to any lower position, #63 vanishes.

i searched the forum but no one seems to have this problem.
can anyone try it out to see if its a bug?
it can be done simply on a new sequence by activating trak 63 (just move the data wheel on the Type field) and then using TrMOVE on the seq edit mode.
