So which version is the most stable?

with all the talk of the newest updates being unstable, which one would be the one to work with? I paid for the newest one but I'll downgrade to a previous one if that ones more stable...

have you had problems with the new one so far?

A few people out of a thousand having problems doesnt mean an OS is unstable.

one could also say that it is not because you are not having problems that the os is stable.
just depend on how you use it.

so to answer the initial question, just try and find out which release is the more stable for your workflow.

It seems to me that the versions just before bit reduction and ring modulator came out were the most stable for me. The wait time for the main screen is really annoying to me. I want to say version 4.6x somewhere in the sixes. my .02

I agree. I noticed that we didn't have an update for a while and then when we did it was that bit reduction addition and from there, more bugs.
I'm very grateful for the additions, and I agree that a few people having problems doesn't mean that the OS is unstable, but all the updates with bug fixes speak for themselves. And I am glad that he's fixing them, I'm just hoping that his focus turns away form major additions and towards total bug clearance again. And I know that was his focus for a while cause a few of us received emails stating no more additions couls be made due to lack of OS space and only bug fixes were goin' to be in the updates.

ive been using 4.74 since it came out and havent had a single issue.
