By mistake I posted a similar message in the 1000 section. When I say "mistake" I mean I didn't get the responses I expected . So I'm asking for some volunteers to please Load up a beat, follow my instructions in the YOU TUBE video, then let me know if your 1000 is doing the same. I'm very curious to see if anyone else is encountering the same bug. It might be just my 1000. Who knows!! Thank you truvc for the advice. I will be sending JJ a a sequence.

mine doesn't do that

and this is now the 3rd thread on this?

anyway though, maybe you should upload that beat folder in its entirety and I can try it with your beat and see if maybe it has something to do with that beat.

Does it do it all the time or only with that beat?

does one of the sliders on the 1000 control the volume in the mixer screen?

my guess is that the slider is loose and so when you're hitting the pad, it moves the slider a little bit, jumping the volume down to the position of the slider.

so get your slider fixed and stop posting this!

no problem. i was just being overly dramatic. i understand what it's like to not be able to figure somethin out, so i can see why you'd make a few different posts about this.

i'm just surprised that no one else thought of that, because it seems like the most likely cause... to me at least.

so was i right though? did you try moving the slider to a different spot and then seeing if when you tap pads the volume changes to match the slider position? before you get the slider fixed, you should check on that.
