Formatting a floppy on 2000xl.

My problem is that when I try to formatt a floppy disk, after it completes to 100% it tells me there is a disk write error. This leaves me unable to save to a floppy disk. Does any one have any suggestions for me, as this is getting quite frustrating not being able to save anything to disk and having to complete a project in one go without switching the unit off.

try some new disks maybe. Or try maybe formating it on the computer. Hope that helps

if that doesnt fix your problem try switching out your floppy drive ... its just a standard floppy drive nothing special about it.

good tip lad!, I'm not using a computer but luckily got a roland vs1680 so shit aint that bad. just composed somthing special tho... oh the joy!
