Is the s2000 8 out the same as the 2000xl 8 out? Looking at A S2000 on ebay that has 8 outs and the eb 16 for less than what it would cost me to get just the eb 16 (which i am currently looking for) So im thinking if the price is good just to get the s2000, strip it and then resell the s2000. Just need some clarification on the 8 outs. thansk

I pulled the 8 outs of an S 3000xl, I believe you can do it with a 2000. You will just not have this metal plate that sets below the 8 outs internally. I just used washers and secured my 8 out card, it was as tight as the one I had with the plate. Check with vst sounds....... I would bet it is doable.

The 8 Out's of an s2000 will work in the MPC.
I does it like MPZ60 said,my self.
At last it's more stable then whit the original Mount-Kit. (Metal Plate) IMO.
The cable was short.
So I took a Floppy Cable and cut off the unused part. It was too wide.

Never had a Problem with.

Have also a look on this Tread.
