i love both! it depends on what you're workin with. Turning quantize off for every track dosnt work for me. Sometimes I need that timing to get a certain feel that I cant get with timing being off. But then again, sometimes timing will only keep your drums off track and you'll need to turn it off to get them aligned exactly where you need them.

haha, at least someone is real about this. It seems as if MPC heads take a certain pride in the absence of quantizing, which I do too, if it give me a good end result. I'll say that again- IF IT GIVES ME A GOOD END RESULT. I guess there's only one question...
Do the means justify the end? or vice-versa? Ha
