Variation Slider Replacement

Hey,

Anyone have any experience replacing a broken variation slider?

I was attempting to gently "bend back" my bent slider & heard a snap. DOH. Anyways, I plugged everything back in, powered up & tried it out. Sure enough, the slider doesnt work anymore. :evil:

Anyone else had this happen?

Any replacement tips? Part numbers, part suppliers, tips, etc....

Swissmaster,

Did you install the variation slider yourself? If so, do you have any tips?

I've successfully replaced rotary encoders on a couple asr's, but I fried the third one I worked on (a little overconfident & careless). Thank god for Thesoniq, he hooked me up with a replacement board for cheap.

actually, I havent installed it yet..i've been spending my money on other things and just getting by without it..sometimes I forget its even broken...but i'm gonna get it installed some..I need to..
