mpc virgin in the building

whats up peoples? just bought my mpc bout 2 days ago and i figured i tap all resources to try and master this thing. never touched one before in my life, so if anybody has any advice or pointers it would be greatly appreciated. oh yea, how do you make the beats go for longer than 2 bars?? thanks again for any response

Answer to your question: To make a sequence longer go to sequence mode and press the param button, its an option in the menu.

thanks snerg. lol i knew someone was gonna say read the manual lol. yea ive had my nose stuck in it since i got it. but to a person whose not use to the terms and lingo, its a little frustrating. but it is startin to make some kind of sense. thanks for the answer. if you dont mind ive got another ? ive uploaded samples from my comp to my mpc and sometimes the sample doesnt sound the same once i assign it to a pad, have you run into this before? any suggestions??? thanks again buddy
