Is there a way to connect the 2500 to FL using a USB?
To get FL to play the 2500 you will need a midi interface such as this

No there isnt. The USB on the 2500 is for data transfer only to the Compact flash card or hard drive, not MIDI.

guitar center should have them. i wouldn't think that radio shack would.

if it is a midi cable it should work with all applications that use midi data transfer.
this special cable seems to have no midi interface or maybe it is inside the usb plug. maybe it uses a virtual midi device via its driver.
