Resampling Question

Does anybody know why when sampling the main output,that the sample weakens or is not as loud?I've had my mpc for over a year so i've known about this for a while now.Just wondering.It would be nice to be able to resample at good quality.

That has bugged me also. What happens when you turn the volume up on the MP and then resample? Does it get louder? Do you mind Normalizing your resampled sample and then saving it?

Yeah man i've tried turning the volume up and it doesn't affect it.I haven't tried normalizing the sample though.I don't think i've ever used the normalize function.What does it do anyway?

Did you try Mode + Pad 10 -> Master level?

No i didn't but i just tried it and it worked.It brought the volume up to about the same as when it's playing.THANKS A GRIP

i was just about to say that.. also when ur recording say through ur mixer always record as hot as possible but not to the red..you dont want it to clip...keep ur earphones levels down to a listenable level..
