Custom Metronome sounds

Am I the only one who uses a custom metronome? I think the stock one on mpc's suck. I sampled some drum stick clicks. What sounds is everyone else using.

stock one here : ) it's not so bad, comparing to one on su700, which can't be changed...

mine is just turned off

Stock...I tried using custom drum sounds, but preferred the stock.

You just load up a sound you want and apply it to the pads. Then you go into the click sound screen and change it. It makes a huge difference in my opinion when you have a nice loud metronome u can actually hear

Stock, I usually just record with it for the first thing I'm playing then turn it off

didnt know either..

do you have to do that everytime u turn your mp on or
can you save the custom sound?

Nice! I didn't know this could be done either and I've always hated the MPC click...very cool.

yea you load it up with a program

Stock. Like Perks, I use it for recording the first track and then turn it off.

I've never found the MP's metronome to be inaudible, and it's a darn-sight less annoying than the Atari ST's!
