Ok let explain it better I have a 20 gig harddrive with a 32 mb memory and i downloaded sounds off my computer into my mpc 1000 and when i pull it up all i see is the folder with the name of the samples and I try to load it when i press do it it does nothing help if you can please

Even if theres not enough memory, it should load the samples till its full. Try loading samples one by one (if you didnt do that already, sounds like you tried to load the whole folder at once). Oh, and upgrade your OS (id recommend JJ Os 3.07 for various reasons).
Getting the ram upgradeis not necessary, but you can get it really cheap and its def. worth it, check the sticky thread.

no **** you man i dont even have hardware and i know more than you, you dont deserve that mpc poser. Internet shit talker lol get better comebacks. Also its not "Do i need a (128 cord) to load all my samples," it's card ok?

Realized, if you load a folder it wont load the sounds in subfolders, maybe thats what happened.
