Question........... how do I separate a cd-rw into 7 different parts(like a zip disk) because I want to put a different song in each one..... that way i can load them up in the mpc and work on them here and there.......

is this possible and will it work????????

how are you guys making use out of the cd-rw????????

just wondering. Thanks

btw- when I set a level in the q=link section, will it save on to disk the way I want it?????????? thank you

You dont need to partition like you did on zips......It will save everything in memory to a new folder(all seq and songs). Everytime you save again to CD-RW you will need to make a new folder to save to. Thats how you keep things seperated. Basically, in its current form, I am only using the CD-RW to backup stuff I've already saved to the internal HD. What you should do is save each song to a seperate folder in the HD, and then shut off the machine or wipe the entire memory, and then load each song individually, save them, shut down or wipe memory, and then do the next song. But thats not really necessary. Again, you should just use the CDR/RW for archiving (backup).
