The Last 45 Ever Produced

what is it? or does some independant company still make 'em? just wondering cuz I got this De La Soul 45 from like 1990 I think...

They are still being produced. Oddly enough they are still favored by underground rock, punk, and just weird music bands.

7 inch records are big with the independant record labels, and DIY pressings...

oh yeah i was thinking when he said the last seven inch came out in 1990... i was like damn that was a long time ago... but now i remember Maker (producer from Glue) put out a fourty five on Bully Records

jazzman and stones throw are currently putting out 45's...
reggae is still based on the 45 single for the most part...

yeah they still press 7" i got some 45's that were made in 2000 they are mostly made 7" with a 33 1/3.

theres more pressing companys do it for cheap.

yup i had got a madlib 45 when i got the beatkonducta when it came out a while back

Kooky's is in the Fillmore district on haight st, def worth checkin out... got to get out to Village Records before it closes next month, thanks for the reminder.

Still big with modern funk too - Kay Dee, Ubiquity, BBE etc. I think they're dope, but a b!thc to cut.
