I have been laying down drum patterns 2 bars worth with all seperate tracks. ex Hats on track 1, snare on ch 2......you get the idea. I then lay down some samples on ch 4. I am all good up till this point. There are times when i want to make another seqeunce but without the same samples. I want to have the exact drum pattern without the previous melody. How do i get another sequence with the same drum pattern? I want to play with 2 different sequences with two different melody patterns. Please school me on this

Copy Sequence. Then Step Edit the Melody portion.

I go to step edit and i copy the whole sequece which is not what i want i just want to keep the drums for the next sequence. Is there a step i have to do before i got to step edit?

1. Copy the sequence
2. Delete or record over track 4

Basically the same wook said. Time for some manual-reading?

Yeah i have been reading up on all the stuff its just this was kind crazy for me to understand. I am more of a visual learner than anything, but thanks for the response.

Isn't reading in here the same as reading in a manual, this forum has not a lot to do with being a visual learner.

Read the fuzzy manual
