okay so i posted dis topic yesterday but sum di(khead decided he wanted 2 run his mouth to me and the post got shut down so im posting this again in PLAIN ENGLISH......

I recently came across these S5000/6000 samplers and im wondering...what do they do??...i mean obviously they're samplers but how do they stand up to say a mpc 2kxl. i mean by looking at them i see that they are rack modules and also the big screen pops out at me , which I imagine could be dope for sample editing but what other features do they have that seperates them from the mpc family. Are they just used as mpc companions?? Or can they be used as your main sampler....i would apreciate it if somebody could hep me out and give me a little background on these samplers perhaps some specs..........................cause i really dont hear about these samplers too much or ive yet 2 see a producer use one .......................HELP ME OUT

its a fancy sampler pretty much. you could use it as your main sampler as you can any sampler, but you will need something external to trigger your samples from the s5000/6000

google it and do some research shouldnt be too hard to figure it out

some specs

http://www.sonicstate.com/synth/_inc/sp ... ynthid=811

hope that helps
