I own both an ASR-10 and an MPC2kxl. The ASR-10 is an extremely versatile keyboard, only surpassed by its' ease of use. That in conjunction with the MPC2kxl is all the gear I've ever needed.

I have the xl and asr-10 combo, loving it. Can't speak for the triton combo.

well by now it should be obvious it really depends on what you want to do, if you are a heavy sampler, i would say asr10
if you compose most likely the triton

The ASR-10 does have the best feeling keyboard i ever felt!!!
The factory sounds are not trash if you know how to teak them. Most of them are hold overs from the EPS 16+ factory disks. They also had sets created by artists ranging from Maurice White (earth,Wind & Fire) down to DJ Jazzy Jeff. If you want a good example of these sounds, listen to D'angelo's Brown Sugar album. Most of that album was done with those stock sounds!!!
