So i just imported a sample(a drum break) from my comp to the MPC, then i choped the sample into five pieces. Of the sample i just chopped, lets say Pad 1 is a few kicks, a snare , and a hi hat. Once i have that looped up, when ever i hit any of the other pads while that one is going it automatically stops the loop to play the other sound and once the sound is done, it starts up again? Is this a Ram problem, or an OS problem or is it some setting that i need to change???? any help would be awesome!!!
P.S. i'm running an MPC 1000 with JJ OS 3.07

im pretty sure its a bug in akai os.. cause ive seen 32voice polyphonic synth before and never did shit like this happen.. the only thing u can do is sample small and cut long tails of dead space off of samples.. and use mutegroups

I think its user error, most frequently asked question.

Check your poly/mono setting for the program.
