Easy question...

Hello fellas!

Im very new to this, please respect that.
Okey, so i load my drums on different "drum" tracks (ie track 1 = kick, track 2 = snare...) Then i load up a nice sample i have, the question is where do i put this sample... on audio, drums or midi...? I suppose on audio.
Ive tried this... say that ive already have recorded my drums, and nothing else.
When push Play it plays my drums AND the friggin sample wich i havent recorded into my set yet..... How do i work this sampling thing correct?

im confused...why would it play the sample if you havent recorded the sample yet? you sure you havent recorded it? i dont kno man

Okey.. put it like this. I have a 80Gb HD. I have some nice samples loaded in my HD. Okey, so i want to load a sample in so i can chop it up.
Where do i load this sample, i mean on what kind of track do i put it.
Drums, midi, audio...?
