Got tips on making your records sound the best?

Yeah I need tips on this! I have some pretty sh!tty sounding vinyl. It goes beyond what sounds good for for gritty tracks. I also have some good sounding stuff that I want sounding better.

Can ya'll please post tips on ANYTHING that will make vinyl sound better. Cleaning tips, storage, maintenance, good cartridges, Styli made specifically for the best sound, killer pre-amps, turntables, hell even dope cables....just anything you can think of to improve the vinyl experience!

That gruvglide looks kinda cool! I wouldn't mind trying that. I'll look into waves restoration kit too!

gruvglide is a bit overrated, i have some of it, and i like it, but someone gave it to me. when i run out, i probably wont buy anymore, so if u kno somone giving it away it's not bad, but it's not worth thirty bucks

what kind of needles do you use? ortofons really make a difference imo

I got a really cheap gemini, and I just use the styli and cartridge it came with. I'm wondering if I do get a ortofon for the cheap gemini if it will really improve the sound? I am wondering because I'm not sure how much of the sound quality is related to the table itself or the styli and cartridge.

yo all the sound quality comes from the cartridge. If you got a starter set than you need to upgrade. I have the Shure m447 turntablist ones. They have good bass resopnse and low record wear. Ortofons are hot, but make sure you spend like at least $75 on whatever cart you cop.
