I'm trying to save a sample, it says (write project!!!) when I try to save. What does this mean? Can't find anything in the manual about this. No glossary. Any help please?!?!?!?

could it possibly be saying "write protect" if so and you are using a floppy drive, make sure the write protect tab on the floppy disk is in the correct position so that it can be written to.

Yeah, thats what it says, but I'm saving to a zip drive, not a floppy. I can save programs to the drive with no problem?????........

I´m confused.
You can save to the zip drive with no problem-you don´t try to save to the floppy disk...it´s possible to save a sequence and a program without any problems.
Did you choose the right direction to save your sample? Can´t imagine any other way this been happening...Think the manual should erase your problem...
