Levels individual outputs MPC60II

How do you adjust the levels of the individual outputs on the MPC60II (OS 2.12)? I've connected them to the inputs of an Adam24 AD/DA converter and the signals are too loud. When I use the stereo outputs there's no problem. Lowering the levels in the drum mix doesn't seem to do anything for the individual outputs.

Record input sensitivity: (HI Gain) -65 dBm, 45k Ohm (MID Gain) -45 dBm, 45k Ohm, (LO Gain) -27 dBm, 45k Ohm

So the indi's are louder than the stereo output level. A +4 dB boost would put you over unity, and not a good idea, since you don't really want to record over 0 dB if you are going digital (CD's) and it isn't a good idea anyway unless you want to overdrive something.

I have a feeling my MPC has been modified. To be sure I'll do some tests with the individual outputs of my S950 today.

No, the MPC hasn't been modified. I also have to turn down the levels of my S950 to stay out of the red. Same with a Minidisc player.

what software are you using to record in? i know in cubase 4 I can control the input levels

Yes, you can, but you don't want the signal to be too loud when it goes into the soundcard. Then the recorded audio will always distort no matter how low you set the input gain in Cubase. So you need gain control before the AD conversion.

Problem solved with another AD/DA converter.

But you can change your soundcards inputs to be lower, and that should save you some $$$$.

Whiches A/D converter did you choose Lotuz?
I beleive i will buy the Motu 8 pre...Anybody uses his MPC60 throught this A/D D/A converter?

The reason for getting a boost on the outputs is to interface with pro equipment, which would be balanced/+4dB, as opposed to the semi-pro stuff - unbalanced -10dB. The MOTu mentioned here probably has an option to set it at either level.
