Using two samples in one?

What I have been doing was downloading the 1 sample and trim the first half of the sample i want to use and resample the same sample to trim the second part.

here is my question, how can i trim the first and second half without resampling...that would take up more time n space? Thanks

sample it all the way thru
enter the trim screen, then zone, chop it into your two parts
trim after if you need to

if i didnt read incorrectly... window key, make copy, trim then discard. There are alot of ways around this actually
