yea i doubt you can use the 2000 wheel (the outer part) but i dont see why you cant use the main wheel. im sure it only sits on some kind of pole so it seems it would be as easy as stickin a new on on.

of course the outer wheel im not sure how you could do that. plus, the 2000 was made to recognize when someone turn that outer wheel so you can select bigger numbers. but i dont think the xl was made to recognize that....

I guess it's a helpful mod, especially from a cost point of view.
Just be careful because one thing I notice about the 2000xl, sooner or later you will bump the flip screen when doing other things and it's nice that it flips down when bumped so nothing snaps off.

thats what i would worry about .. the screen i just tilted .. gittn snapped off like a twig lol

well i can see how you would worry about something like that. well my screen is pretty stable. dosnt move at all unless you put some pressure on it. my hand dosnt really come close to it except for the f buttons and the main volume. but my hands arent going wild so i dont really worry much about that. i suppose it can happen, but if you do knock it, it wouldnt move much...maybe tilt a little in the wrong direction, but mine isnt gonna slide down or anything..

yea i can see how that could be a problem

still goin strong is anyone cared. screen still works like new. im just mentioning this because at first i thought dust might be a problem. and it still may end up causing my screen to go out, but by the way things are looking, this thing is hangin in there. still easy on my eyes! only thing is, a little difficult to see when im standing up! lol

if i had a spare mpc just to mess with, i would try to figure out a way to make this thing pivot/move or something.....anyway, peace :!:

Maybe an idea for these aftermarket guys...??????
A nice casing for my 2000 tilted screen...possibly about 50 cent production costs!
Anyone who wouldn´t pay five dollars for it?
