I know they are. 44-7 are amazuing needles, I always wanted to have one. But my point is: I'm not gonna buy the 44-7 if the blue concord still does the job.

Nope . . . . there's no point to get 44-7's if you got the blue Ortofon's . I know of a DJ who started out w/ the Ortofon's, but a couple (skip free) years later decided to try 44-7's (during the SkratchPickle frenzy) . After executing the decision he found out he was sadly misled about the "fabled, flawless needles" and was stuck w/ 'em due to dough restrictions . When the income got better he got rid of the cursed 44-7's and found another set of Ortofon's . And everyone lived happily-ever-after , the end . Yes . . . . this DJ is yours truely . The only thing is that different people use different shtuff . I know DJ's who swear by thier Stanton 500's , so go figure .
