information on MPC to Module to Protools

hey i have a MPC2000xl, a yamaha motif rack, and an MBOX -- i am looking to trigger the sounds from motif, and be able to sequence a different sound on a different track like how i would do by loading a program or something --- what are the right connections - and then how will i get it to record in the mbox please! -- thanks a bunch peace

Well, Hook the Motif up to the MPC via MIDI.
(MIDI out of Motif -> to MIDI in 1 of MPC->MIDI out A of MPC->MIDI in of Motif)

Assign different channels to each track, and to each sound on the Motif.
(ex. Motif Sound 1 to MIDI CH.1 Then MPC Tr:01 to MIDI :1A-Device01)

Then take the Audio outs of the Motif and MPC into the M-box, or to a mixer -> then to M-box.

That's how I have my MPC->MicroKorg->Mixer->Digi-002.
I use the MicroKorg as a MIDI controller, Sequence on MPC, and Mix on Pro tools.

Then the MPC will trigger the Motif, I hope that helps a little.
