dubbing q link data - what am I doing wrong?

Hi I have some problems when i am trying to overdub real time g-link data - say shifting the filter cutoff for the whole track.

I get the exact sound I want, hit overdub but then the track plays back with the original filter settings, ignoring the position of the q-link controls.

I have the "after" lit, and to be safe I erased all previous real time data on all tracks

what am I doing wrong?

you didn't move the slider. ..
it will only record movements; if you want to set the track filter to a fixed value, just use INSERT EVENT in Step edit instead.

use grid edit for q link data. it works like a charm
