Use step edit. If you know the resolution of 3k like 96Hz for a quarter note. And you can read the sequence data on main page 1:01:00 and work out placement of a 1/8th=48, 16th=24 and etc. Plus you can shift the notes back or forth.

I figured out part of the problem. The kick I was using needed more truncating. Too much space on the front end. I guess that's the disadvantage of no visual waveform to edit. This thing sounds nice real good though!!!

To get the kick sharp tune it all the way down and trim it. I have pad A13 standard -240 pitch note off and pad A14 0 pitch mono play mode with 0 envelope on the end. They mute eachother. I use theese two pads to trim samples. Assign sample to those pads and you'll trim them very fast!

Make that program auto-load by naming it STARTUP.APS!

Thanks. I'll try that out later today. I didn't get a manual with mine. Is there one on line to download and read on the computer?

Thanks. I'll be gettin that 3.50 soon. I was alittle dissapointed with the appearance of my le but after gettin into it and wiping it down it aint that bad. Paint fading in a few spots. One scsi screw missing(still works). Buzz from headphone jack(don't use). Backlight dim but visible enough. Overall its in good shape and I'm lovin it!!!!

I save that STARTUP.APS file on the A folder on every Zip i use, then it always auto-load when I turn the MPC on.

And I have also set all pads to mono mode, so I won't get chaos making beats.

I could upload the file on the internet, but I don't know where. You're all just too lazy if you don't make your own file... A file that works best for you and your ways of doing things on the 3000!
