problem with mpc500 and compact flash.....help please

hello, I am new with mpc500 and I have problems with compact flash sandisk 4g and the original one also, when I introduce the card in mpc this does not react, when retirement the card this follows its on-speed operation, mpc does not recognize the card and it does not let use it in spite of having format several times.

2 gig is the maximum size the MPC recognizes - that is probably your problem

I assume it will just fail to see anything bigger

When you plug a cf card into the mpc it should not 'react'. You have to go and actually load sounds from it. A CF card is not like a USB plug and play device, where Windows XP loads it automatically.
