[quote="Jacpot"]DId this dude say he didnt want an xl because he hasnt heard any heat being made on one??

That's not what I said. I said I wasn't impressed with waht people are doing with them. Of course RZA, MF Doom, Madlib, Pete Rock can do it.
My thing is the sound. I was refering to the sound generating from the units. 16 - Bit. Not the production capabilities / Producers. The 2000 models can rip. Just too much digi in the model for me. That's what I meant. Not that I haven't heard anything dope off of them.
Matter of fact - The Lab I'm collabing with hubs from a 2K XL.
That's like saying Can Koston get a Backside Bluntside in Brick City.
Of Course we know that Koston can do it.
Stated from earlier. I side with the older models. Specifically for the Sound and Sequencer. I'm a 12 - bit Mongrel.
Check up. I never clown heads for what they are doing. Just looking for the answers of what they like about thier 2k Models vice the 60 and 3000 models.
But your schoolin' heads huh ?
Take you own vandetta up with your own requests. I was just searching for some rough end answers.

MPC 60ii Data Format.
Data Format 16 Bit A/d and D/A converters. Samples stored in 12 bit non' linear.

Get off my log. Sucka I'll waste you with a beatbox.

your point in this thread...i know you mean well...but i dont think youll catch too many like minds on this one...
as far as the tech goes....maybe we should respect the few minutes it took in a assembly line to craft our pieces...

but i dont give a **** about them....they get paid to do what they do....

if people weren't inquisitive or disrespectful when it comes to musical instruments then the mpc, the electric guitar, the moog (and any other oscillator synth for that matter), the bass guitar, hmm...why dont i just shorten the list and say every single instrument that isn't a bone....no a palm hitting a rock....none of these would exist. dont take this the wrong way and think that im blindly disrespecting you because i know you mean well. but your post shits on the essence of music.
