MPc 1000 and reason 3.0 ? please help.

Ok so im newb and , just got an mpc. I wanted to see if anyone can help me figure out how to use reason as a sound module . I watched sparqs video but I think i have a connection problem. ok so i have a m-audio 49 keystation which has a usb and a midi out , reason 3.0 and mpc. Let me know wasup man 4 real need some help here . Before i start throwing things, LOl.

Well i have a midi/usb cable going from the mpc to the pc.
And then i have a the regular usb cable from the m-audio to the pc also the keystation has a midi out . so i got a midi cable goin out from the keystation into the in of the mpc. also i tried everything sparq said on the video and i can here and sound modulating from reason. Idk if i said the right but yea .

keyboard goes midi out to mpc in and thru the mpc out which goes to your pc's midi interface - forget about the USB unless you are using it as the power source for your keyboard

so i need an interface is their anyone in particular you suggest couse i have a miini mbox yet it has no midi ports . its just to record audio. n- e way i sorted of figured i was missing something. so whichinterface can make reason a sound module would be. and would it be cheaper to just get cubase.

the usb/midi cables work fine but regular midi are more responsive. I am in a similar situation trying to figure out how to get everything from my esq that i have sequenced in reason to record into Sonar. As far as sequencing reason with your mpc take a look at the advanced midi section in the reason manual. its really simple to setup but that page will walk you right through it

the thing is the keystation doesn't have a midi out idk if that even matters but it dont. and im here trying to figure out if i should sell my mpc on ebay or get a interface.

what kind of midi controller doesnt have midi out. thats the whole purpose of the controller. midi in i can understand but no midi out wtf!

Bro my bad its a midi in that is missing. SO i need an inteface to hook everything up ?
