external cf reader with the 2000 classic

I was just wondering who here uses an external cf reader with their classic, and what type are you using?

my boy got one off scsifor samplers and that ish works perfect.....

I copped one from scsi 4 samplers also. I use the PCMCIA slot with a CF adapter in it as my boot disk, and I use the CF slot for importing samples from my PC.

BUT, I just checked their website and THEY WANT $250 for those sh!ts now!!! I haven't even had my joint for 6 months, and it was "only" $125 then. There must be mad cats trying to buy them now or some sh!t, because there is NO REASON for them to double the price on those sh!ts in less than 6 months! THAT'S STRAIGHT MADNESS! AND THEY RAISED THE SHIPPING $3 TOO! FOR WHAT???

I'd be hard pressed to do business with those cats again, if that's how they get down...

i know i almost bought one for 125 a while back, and that seems alittle $$$. But for 250?!? im going to keep my zips for now...

I got a PCD-47B from ebay and bought an external case from scsi 4 samplers (great shop btw!). Everything works great! It was only a bit difficult to find the right jumper settings. If you've found the right combination, don't change it anymore.
