1. Power sources on→
2. create a program and load some samples, assign samples to pads
3. record a sequence with some notes, no matter if oneshot or noteOn
4. play the sequece and goto program-page mode+pad7 or mode+pad11
5. hold down unused pad + move jog wheel --> it cuts off playing notes
