... a function removed because of firmware space. Looks like its the end of new features and maybe the start of stabilizing and finishing JJ OS on the 2500.

Hope so, JJ OS with the little bugs fixed would be perfect!

what he removed:

1. mode+pad7[PROGRAM]
2. F3[PARAMS]
3. F6[EDIT] <--- <<<< Deleted this >>>>
The same function as this is in mode+pad6[TRIM]->F6 [EDIT].

he could thin out more the mode+pad7 ope, its only good thing is the fast layer editing

its only good thing is the fast layer editing

VELOCITY RANGE mode (hit MODE while in GPE over the PAD NUMBER, like A01) is essentially the exxact same screen with the addition of the whole function. i''ve said that mode/pad 7 should be replaced with a shortcut to this screen for as you said, quick layer editing -- a very important function that should be accessible by 1 command

oh no, no forgetting what you wrote because it's very very important
i'm just trying to spread awareness that this screen....

Image

could go in place of OLD PROGRAM MODE on mode+pad 07
access would it'd be just as quick to getting at multiple layers, as you said

fast layer editing on a single pad basis is important. what i like about the screen i posted above is that you have either single pad access or multiple pad access with the VERY intuitive "WHOLE" button

old program mode's main screen, however, only gives you access to the current pad.

yo ,so if i build a cord with layers now i can tune it up without editing every single layer ,thats cool

i´m fresh to JJ so i´m used to use the ope , but the more i get into the gpe
the more i understand the advantages

we have also limited code-memory (2500users) ,removing the whole ope
is a nice idea to save much memory for further features/fixes

edit: i found out the "whole" key in this window is to apply layer to pads, is there a way to edit all 4 layers of a pad at the same time (as a group) ? maybe to decrease volume of pad , not only of layer 1 .
