I was wondering, if i wanted to use software but i want the hardware sound: for example:

Motif, Fantom sound, what soft synth(s) would closely match the quality of those sounds

MPC 2500, ASR10, what sampler would match the depth of those sampler?

No i know im using 4 controllers (3 Behringer BCF2000, M-audio Trigger Finger, CME UF5 (49 key controller,) and a M-Audio Keystation 88 pro), but what synths would i use

oh by the way im using Reason 3, Live 6, and FruityLoops 4 to create my songs

most vsts dont sound much different from a fantom or a motif ect as far as quality of sound imo. However the depth between a mp 2500 and an asr10 sounds kinda steep. the mpc is clean sounding and the asr is gritty. id like to see what someone may advise for those but i dont think

I use both. Ever since I upgraded my DAW, I've been enjoying the sweet sounds of the vsti's I'm using coupled with the hardware modules I use. This combo gives me at least 112 midi channels to work with if I choose. Of course I have'nt come no where near using that many channels and probably never will, but it's the fact that I enjoy mixing and experimenting with sounds occassionally in order to come up with a concept.
