I know that space for new code in the JJ os is pretty much nonexistent, but I have an idea that might not take much space.
I find resampling on the mpc (which I do a lot to free up FX) is a little cumbersome because after recording the main outs you have to trim manually. But what if the length of the recording could be set equal to the length of the sample/sequence you're trying to resample? You can set a duration to record anyway (in milliseconds), all that would need to be added is a reference to the length of a sample or sequence. Would that take up much code in the OS? I don't think so, but I could be wrong.
To sum up : it would be nice to set the duration of the record function equal to the length of a existing sequence or sample.
But I could be all wrong, so feel free to criticize me. Maybe someone with more connections then me could take this up with JJ?
