how come my mpc doesnt recognize 2gb flash card?

i have a 512mb flash and i bought a new 2gb card when i bought the mpc , when i put in the 512 it works just fine..

but when i put in the 2 gb.. the screen goes blank..even if i turned the mpc off and then put in the card and then turn it back on again the screen i still blank..

any1 know?

it does the same thing with my computer..ill put the flash card in the flash card slot on my computr and all the icons would disappear.. but when i take it out they\ reappear.. it works fine for 512 cards..

maybe it's the brand. I have a 2GB Kingston card that works fine.

as in take a lifetime to figure out why it's not working.



I would take it back and / or just buy another from Costco or Sams where you can get a no stocking fee, no questions asked return in case you have the same issues with it.

I have a non IBM Microdrive 8 Gig that works fine

"lifetime"?? yeah that cards prolly wack, i've never heard of that name so..

try a brand thats popular. i have a sandisk 2 gb and it works fine.

does it show up on your computer?
